How to transfer ownership of your Boardly dashboard

Steps to transfer ownership

On your dashboard, click the "Transfer ownership" button.
A modal window will open, asking you who to transfer dashboard ownership to.
In the dropdown list, select the person you want to transfer ownership to.
Click the "Confirm transfer" button to finalize the process.

Implications of ownership transfer

The new owner will have full control over the dashboard.
You will lose owner rights to the dashboard.
The new owner can modify settings, access, and even delete the dashboard.
You will now be considered an editor of the dashboard, with limited rights.

Warning

Ownership transfer is an irreversible action. Make sure you trust the person you're transferring ownership to and that this action is necessary before proceeding.

Tip

If you just want to share the dashboard without transferring ownership, consider using sharing options with editor rights rather than transferring ownership.
